Extreme Heat Information
As you are aware the next few days will see some extreme heat. The school will remain open as normal with some changes in school to ensure pupil safety at all times. All pupils are invited to wear PE kit (shorts and T-Shirts/Polo Shirts) and trainers until Friday. Sandals will be allowed but they must have backs (no flip flops or mules). Please make sure that your child has a refillable water bottle, sun hat and have sun cream applied before coming into school. During this week there will be no PE. Outdoor time will be closely monitored and or restricted. Children will be encouraged to sit in shaded areas (gazebos will be put up around the school).. Arrangements will also be made for children to stay inside. Children will have access to water at all times, hence the need to have a refillable bottle everyday. Please be reassured that we will continue to assess the situation and make adaptations to school life as necessary.
