On the 8th November 2017, our More Able pupils from years 5 and 6 will be attending a More Able Maths day at St. Patricks.
Pupils from local schools will also be attending and it promises to be a fun and challenging mathematical adventure!
On the 19th January 2018, our More Able pupils from years 5 and 6 were invited to a ‘More Able Writers Day’ with the writer Ciaran Murtagh.
Murtagh has written for television series such as Mr. Bean, The 4 o’clock club and The Amazing World of Gumball !
A total of 34 children took part, including children from 5 other schools in Havering.
Murtagh was a lively host, and the children were taught new ways of writing stories, and most importantly, loving the stories they write!
